- Big, over the top, loud… and that’s just his hat! More chance of hitting Warnie’s googly for a cover drive than hitting a tee shot it straight down the middle. Still holds the record for the shortest opening drive on tour of 11 foot (see video), although a very hung over Groucho holds the shortest drive ever of 2 feet by using the 3 foot divot technique on day 2.
- Competitors should look out for: His curve ball, which is thrown often. He is oblivious of curve balls thrown back at him. He thinks this is a compliment.

My how good looking i am……bowled Wayne
Oz definitely now has longest drive record. 6 inches to the right of his tee at the short 7th at Houghton. This was after he was chuckling about Full Tilts drive of at least 6 meters!
It is a rare talent, i bet that none you posers would be able to do it at all!!
… and plays his 4th from the drop zone!
That’s coz my third went in the damn water. Dams are meant for fish not golf balls!
Oz, you still owe us for the Fresh Air at Royal – it will be claimed in Oubaai. Further the environmentalist at the aforementioned club is looking for the person who cut down a 250 year old tree planted by the forefathers of Prince Albert. They are somewhat baffled as the base of the tree looked as if it was attacked by a 7 iron?
It was a practice swing…..the eyesight is going on you old geezers.
I think that they need to equip each golfer with a chainsaw and a lawn mower and perhaps a few sheep to take with, coz that damn goat track needs some serious pruning!!!
Of course it was Dago’s axe….I mean 7 iron that I was using I wonder what other tricks he has in his bag?
